Dr. Cooper is a native of Gardiner. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine. His
residency training was at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Cooper established this practice in 1985.
Dr. Cooper is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was certified with the American
Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987 and recertified in 1997.
Dr. Petersen is a native of Augusta. She is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Petersen did her residency training at the University of New York at Syracuse. She established her pratice
in 1988. Dr. Petersen is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was certified with
the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990.
Dr. Gianini is a graduate of Fairfield University and the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency
training was at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base. Dr. Gianini joined Kennebec Valley Obstetrics
and Gynecology in 1993. Dr. Gianini is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was
certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1993.
Ms. Booth is a graduate of St. Francis Schoolof Nursing and the Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner
Program at StateUniversity of NYC. She was certified by theNurses Association of the American Collegeof
Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1985. She joined Kennebec Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992.
